Thriller Task- Filming 26/02/10

In todays session we began our filming in the forest. We decided on what equipment we should use before we set off to film and decided that we should take a tripod so that the footage would be stable and so we would be able to use the panning shot. We went down to the forest and recorded the scene of the hooded figure walking through the forest. Charlotte recorded this scene while I played the character walking through the forest. We shot this scene a number of times so that we had back up clips in case something went wrong with the first take. We tried experimenting with different angles and different shots to see which ones were more affective. Once we had finished recording this scene we moved on to filming the establishing shot of the outside of the forest. Alex recorded the hooded character making his was through the archway leading into the forest with a long shot which then turned into a zoom in so that we were able to seem him more clearly as he got further away.
